Helping clients navigate the ever changing landscape of their respective industry. Also, educating and training staff. I love sharing my knowledge and seeing them have AHA moments when they get it.
Allowed me to understand there are several ways to get to the answer and everyone’s perspective is valid even if I disagree. Great life lesson. Further, I appreciate the impact that local governments and nonprofits have on everyday citizens even when the citizens are not aware of it. It is sometimes a thankless job and I admire those folks that are doing their best to enrich other people’s lives.
Treat people the way you want to be treated. Building lasting relationships require mutual respect and for the other person to feel like you care about what matters to them. Everyone wants to know “Do you hear me” and “Do I matter.” We strive daily to let our clients feel heard and that their concerns matter to us. We also celebrate with our clients when something good happens. So we try to be there for better or worse.
